Friday night will also feature Jacksonville, Alabama’s own accomplished musician, Riley Green, who will open for Bret Michaels. Green has released three popular EP’s, starred in two TV shows (Winner of CMT’s Redneck Island and his own hunting show on DirtRoadTV) boasts thousands of social media fans/followers, and has played across the southeast to hordes of music lovers singing the words of his Alabama anthem “Bury Me in Dixie” back to him. Performing to two sold out crowds at the highly sought after Iron City Event Venue in Birmingham, to name just a few sold out performances this year, and landing a spot in this past weekend’s lineup at mega fest “Rock the South” in Cullman, Green has not only found his place in the music world, but is making a unique and original mark on it in the Southern Region. Outside of music and the outdoors, Riley always found time for athletics as a former three sport athlete in high school and a walk-on quarterback at Jacksonville State University. He is considered “one of us” and will most definitely receive the warmest of welcomes in his home state as he serenades the Main Street Music Festival Crowd with his own adaptations of what “Southern Living” truly is, and what it means to call Alabama home. |
